International Rome Film Festival
Getting ready for the fourth edition of International Rome Film Festival, 15 to 23 October 2009. The event will transform the capital into a city of Cinema, with a calendar full of special events, meetings, major event films, retrospectives and events to culture of various kinds.
66th Venice Film Festival
From 2 to 12 September 2009 takes place at the Lido of Venice, the 66th edition of the Venice International Film Festival, directed by Marco Müller and organized by the Venice Biennale. The 2009 edition will include retrospectives and tributes to personalities such as contribution to a better understanding of the history of cinema.
DOGANA DA MAR: NEW POLE OF THE ART
The ancient Dogana del Mar was restored by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, becoming the second exhibition center in Venice, after Palazzo Grassi. On June 6 is presented to the public the exhibition "Mapping the Studio" , a selection of works from François Pinault Collection.
UMBRIA JAZZ 2009: THE FESTIVAL OF THE GREAT MUSIC
From 10 to 19 July 2009 Perugia hosts UMBRIA JAZZ, the prestigious music festival with a rich and eclectic program: 220 events (largely free), 500 musicians and 9 location.
MONET, IL TEMPO DELLE NINFEE
The Palazzo Reale in Milan, until 27 September 2009, is the prestigious setting of the exhibition "Monet, il tempo delle Ninfee. Will be exposed twenty large paintings representing the artist's personal vision of nature, inspired by the culture and aesthetics of the Japan.
