A landscape heavily influenced by industrialization is Turin, capital of Piedmont, who is also a city with a remarkable cultural , artistic and architectural heritage. The plain in the provinces of Vercelli, Novara and Biella offers a typical scenario where rice is produced one of the typical products of Piedmont. The Alpine valleys of Piedmont and Aosta have a lot of products and dishes, including many types of cheese, the famous sausage potato tasty desserts like torcetti, paste and Meliga giuraije. Among the wines are excellent products such as Barbera, Asti, Barolo.
